WE MOVE THE WORLD
We consider the dynamic and ever-changing world of Wellness to be of value to everyone. When we embody Wellness, not only do we achieve well-being but we also give off positive energy.
This is the idea that has always guided us and inspired "Let's move for a better world", a global campaign that collects our individual energy and direct it towards a common goal: the fight against obesity and sedentary lifestyle.
Together we can do things and increase the success of the initiative: Since 2014 "Let's move for a better world" has involved a growing number of facilities and participants, all joined together by MyWellness Cloud, a passion for physical exercise and the will to take action against sedentary behavior.
The problem GLOBAL OBESITY a social and collective issue.
Human beings were born to move but ever evolving technology, albeit full of opportunities, may pose a major threat to active lifestyle of the world's population, leading to a more sedentary lifestyle thank in the past. Obesity is even more dangerous because it gives rise to numerous related issues (hypertension, cardiac disorder, etc.). its steady rise in developed countries is causing more death than malnutrition and Is becoming an increasingly social and economic problem.
The Place Fitness Center is proud to join the movement this year by being the only Fitness Center in South East Asia register for "Let's Move for a better world".
We understand the obesity problem and inactivity issue, that is why we always focus in our clubs to bring activities to our members, such as Group Classes, Small Group Training to raise the healthy lifestyle awareness.
Joining the event is very simple, by being our member at The Place TK you only have to download MyWellness apps on your smartphone. Create an account, then just login on our cardio equipment by selecting "Let's move for a better world "challenge. Every moves that you will do during the session will be recorded and add to our total club moves. More moves we get more we can give back to the community to fight against obesity.
